I Love Story
I love creating worlds, characters, dramatic moments, tension, twists, arcs, everything. I create my own stories and work with others to develop theirs. I love seeing a vision come to life. I am a writer, screenwriter, boom operator, Foley recordist, Foley artist, and field recorder.
The process of bringing a story alive is collaborative. I've participated in writers groups and critique groups, collaborated with other authors, beta read novels, written short films and an advertisement, and worked sound on feature and short films, documentaries, a T.V. show, advertisements, and an inspirational video.
I am currently serving as the President of the Filmmakers Association of Modesto (FAM). We have had two recent partnerships: a fundraising silent film for the Prospect Theater Project and a mentoring day with Project Uplift. I hope to have the FAM engage in more community outreach programs in the near future to support the Modesto area through the arts.
R. Garret Wilson has an exceptional work ethic in whatever task he is on. Whether he is penning a storyline or capturing dialogue on set, Ryan maintains a consistent calm and respectful presence which makes him a complete asset to any team or collaborative group.
It is always a pleasure working with Ryan. Positive, creative, professional, and he's even funny, too. He has been such a supportive person on the multiple projects we have worked on together, and I always anticipate the next.
Ryan is a true professional. A talented writer and skilled and reliable sound mixer, he's always a huge asset on any project and a joy to work with. I call upon him for every film project.

Ryan is professional, observant, and can anticipate when needed on set. Working with Ryan is always a positive experience.

My work with has taken me from Fresno to Sacramento, from the San Francisco Bay to the Sierra Nevada mountains, and I've met some great people along the way.
